God the Source of All Knowledge is a Mathematician

God’s word talks about God being an all-knowing, omnipresent, omniscient father who is an ever-present help in the lives of all His Children. God gave prophets, kings, men of old who feared Him wisdom like King Solomon, Daniel, Joseph, King David, Elijah even Elisha just to name a few. The word of God says in Colossians 1 verse 17 from Open Bible, “He is before all things, in Him, all things hold together”. It also says in 1 Corinthians 1 verse 25 from Open Bible, “For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, the weakness of God is stronger than human strength”. If human beings are mathematicians, and they were created by God, then He is mathematics’ source.

Right from Genesis 1, God created

Right from Genesis 1, God created the world and everything including human beings in six days then rested on the seventh day. In chapter two, God made the man fall into a deep sleep and out of the man’s ribs made a woman, his accuracy is visible in that there was precise removal of ribs to be able to make a woman. Genesis chapter 6 shows us how he gave Noah precise measurements to build the ark such that it had no errors or limitations at all. Luke 12 shows us how the hairs on all heads are numbered, this can only be possible for a mathematician.

God the Source of All Knowledge is a Mathematician

The Lord broke bread and fish using it to feed multitudes, in one place he fed 5000, in yet another 7000. God also owns a book called numbers; one wonders how many calculations were in it, and He begins the book in chapter 1 by telling Israelites to take a census of all the people in their community. Previously, God had told Abraham that all descendants would be as much as the stars in the sky. As seen in Genesis 15 verse 5 from Bible Ref, if he could count them, then that would be the number of descendants to come after him. Only God can count the stars in the sky as they are His creation.

In Psalm 90 from Got Questions article “Why should we want God to teach us to number our days”, the Psalmist writes “teach us to number the days”. 1st Kings chapter 6 shows the exact measurements that King Solomon used to build the temple of God. Looking at 2 Peter 3:8 from Open Bible it shows how “1000 years is like a day to the Lord and a day 1000 years”. A man with a measuring line appeared to Zechariah in chapter 2 verse 2 from Bible Hub. Zechariah asked the man where he was going, his response was “to measure Jerusalem, to find out how wide and how long it is”.

Everything about God is methodical, even when there was a healing of the sick there was the inclusion of maths. Like how many days for cleansing and instructions to see priests to be declared healthy again. According to Maths History from St. Andrews, there are more instances in God’s word that show God’s math knowledge; mathematics is definitely an expression of God’s mind. Without the Lord, Mathematics would not exist at all, as He is the source of all things. The Book of Genesis begins by acknowledging that in the beginning there was God. This makes Him the source of math and a mathematician.
